About the speaker:

Thank you to SCVA for inviting me! My name is Rachael, I qualified in 2018 from the University of Bristol with an intercalated degree in Veterinary and Bioethics. I went on to undertake an internship in equine practice, and worked as an equine clinician in charity, private practice and University settings. In May 2024, I took a bit of a different career trajectory as I began work for RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre, where are most common admissions are hedgehogs! I also work as Director of Studies for Clinical Veterinary Medicine at Homerton College, University of Cambridge, and spend a lot of time attempting to make the evidence base in wildlife medicine a bit…
